Toyota WS ATF is a sealed-for-life specification fluid — but that doesn't mean it actually lasts the life of the vehicle. At 100,000+ miles, WS ATF that's never been changed shows significant degradation and causes shift roughness. We recommend a drain and fill with fresh WS ATF at 100k intervals on higher-mileage Toyotas.
